A workaholic’s fitness dream…

After spending three years shedding the obesity I had as teen, I developed a love towards fitness. I like the long walks, weekly hikes, yoga mondays; being physically active in general.

Along with the weight, I put on a workaholic nature as well during my teenage. I still like what I do. I like running simulations, making origami, doing the math; I love being an engineer. But this work of mine requires me to sit at a desk and work.

I am torn! How do I satisfy the fitness freak inside of me without hurting the workaholic in my brain?

Well you guys don’t have to ponder about the answer. I found a great solution to my problem this year: A Yoga Chair!

I love how simple this solution is. It is basically a yoga ball fit in a plastic shell designed to give you an ergonomic experience. There are a number of yoga poses and stretching exercises that I do now when I get tired of the computer screen. And the best part is, my co-workers are not disturbed by it.

It would be nice to work half day and got out for the half. But a girl’s gotta work, coz a girl’s gotta eat, and this girl loves this chair as it makes her work more fun!
